Interesting places
Travelling in itself is fun, but it's even more fun when you have exciting, new things to see. We've prepared a just a small list of what there is to see around Brezje that are must-see places when visiting Slovenia.

Radovljica
A small, well preserved medieval town, just a few minutes drive from Brezje. It's worth visiting. A few good, local restaurants, museums and summer festival of Ancient music. Local stores with organic local products.

The Vintgar Gorge
An absolute must see. Everybody who visits the region see this famous gorge. It is just five minutes from Bled. Especially recommended to refresh oneself in a hot summer day.

Bled
Bled is probably one of the most well known Slovenian destinations. It's a beautiful town famous for its castle, overlooking the Bled lake with its single island in the middle.
Bled is about a 20 minute drive from Brezje.

Bohinj Lake
Lake Bohinj is the largest lake in Slovenia, situated in the Triglav National Park. It's half an hour drive from Bled Lake. A place with less hotels and less tourist crowds is highly recommended to be visited.

Kamen Castle
Take the local road to Begunje village (5 km), passing the world famous ski factory Elan, driving through the village, impressive ruins of early medieval castle appears. Passing the castle, enjoy the beautiful untouched nature of Draga valley. At the end of the valley there is a small local restaurant.

Ljubljana
Ljubljana - capital city, population about 300 000. Only 30 minutes drive. All the guests we hosted have been pleasantly surprised by visiting the city. It dates back to Roman times, today is a vivid city crowded with students and tourists all around the year. Highly recommended.
