Frequently asked questions.

The short answers to the things guests ask us most often. If yours isn't here, write to Breda — we answer every email in person, usually within the day.

  1. How do I book a stay?Write to Breda by email, give her a call, or use the contact form — tell us your dates, how many of you there are, and which accommodation you’re interested in. We answer every message ourselves, usually within the day. A reservation is final once we send you a written confirmation and you reply to confirm. There are no booking fees and no third-party platforms.
  2. Do I need to pay a deposit? No. We don’t collect deposits — your reservation is held on trust. Payment is settled in cash on arrival or departure; we don’t accept cards or bank transfers.
  3. What if my plans change?Cancellation is free at any time — just email or call us. Nothing is collected in advance, so there is nothing to refund. We appreciate as much notice as you can give, especially in high season.
  4. When are you open? The campsite, the wooden huts and the rooms in the barn are open from May through September. The apartments in the farmhouse are open all year round.
  5. What are the check-in and check-out times?Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out by 11:00, the same for every accommodation type. Earlier or later arrivals are possible by prior arrangement. Please have a passport or ID card ready at check-in — Slovenian law requires us to register every guest.
  6. Are dogs allowed?Dogs are welcome at the campsite (€8 per dog per night). They can’t stay in the huts, the apartments or the barn rooms.
  7. Is there electricity at the campsite?Yes — a hook-up costs €8 per night. Hot showers are included in the pitch price, and the tap water is drinkable Alpine water.
  8. Is there Wi-Fi?Yes — at the campsite and in every accommodation, around the clock.
  9. How far is Lake Bled?Seven kilometres — about ten minutes by car, or a short bus ride from the stop 500 metres down the road. Vintgar Gorge, Lake Bohinj, Triglav National Park and Ljubljana are all easy day trips. See interesting places nearby.
  10. Can I reach you without a car?Yes. Buses from Ljubljana and Radovljica stop at Črnivec/Rad., five hundred metres from the farm gate — in summer roughly every 30 minutes. The Lesce-Bled railway station is four kilometres away, and the Sava cycling route passes 800 metres from the property. Tell us when you’re arriving and we’ll come and meet you — full details on the directions page.
  11. Is the tourist tax included in the prices? No — the Slovenian municipal tourist tax is charged in addition to the listed prices: €2.50 per adult per night, €1.25 for children aged 7–18, free under 7. Apartments, rooms and huts also have a one-off cleaning fee, shown on each listing page.
  12. What are the house rules?Quiet hours run from 22:00 to 07:00 across the whole property. Open fires are not permitted without explicit permission, and smoking is not allowed inside any building. Guests are welcome to pick fruit from the orchard.
