There are a lot of places to sleep around Bled. Most are run by an agency or a numbered key-box. We are run by a family, on the family's land — the parents and their four children, all part of keeping this place going.

One family, one property.This land has been in the family for generations. The same two people who run the place are the ones who clean it, cook for it and answer the phone. No managers, no concierge, no franchise.
Four kinds of stay in one place.A pitch under the fruit trees, a hut, an apartment in the farmhouse, a dormitory in the barn — all on the same property, all sharing the same orchard. Mix it up over a longer trip.
A working orchard, not a lawn.Apple, pear and plum trees the farm has tended for decades. Strawberries in late June, plums in August, apples at harvest. Help yourself.
Family-first, parties last.Silence between 10 PM and 7 AM is the only rule that matters. Most of our guests are families, hikers and cyclists who go to bed when the bell rings.

Who we are

Breda & Jože.

The people you'll meet on arrival, and the people you'll write to in advance.

The farm has been in the family for generations — a working farm for most of its life, with animal farming that stopped decades ago. The orchard is still here.

In their younger years, Breda and Jože spent much of their time travelling across Europe, collecting languages along the way — English, French, Russian, and a little Czech and Italian. Between the two of them, they have stayed in enough places to know what a good host looks like — and what to avoid.

They opened the campsite in 2013, running it alongside their regular jobs. Now that both are retired, they have more time to dedicate to the farm — and all four of their children, who grew up here, are part of running it alongside them.

Had a really wonderful 4 nights stay in the old farmhouse in Brezje. Lovely spacious accommodation, beautiful surroundings in a quiet rural environment. Great location for exploring Slovenia. The gorgeous Lake Bled being a short drive away. Breda and Joze were wonderful hosts, really friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend staying here! TrefortJuly 2014
